John Matoba Obituary, Death Cause – The news that Paramedic John Matoba had passed away unexpectedly was brought to our attention this morning, and it has caused a great deal of grief to emerge inside the hearts of each and every one of us. Paramedic Matoba, also known by his nickname “Toba,” was an employee of our company for close to 32 years, during which time he held the title of “Toba.
During that time period, he was not only a force that drove things forward at our department, but he was also a force that worked toward doing good. To this day, they refer to him as “Toba.” Toba began his employment at Thornton Fire on January 1, 1983, and he continued with the company until he resigned in the year 2015, bringing the total number of years he spent working there to 35.
Toba’s retirement marked the end of his 35-year career with Thornton Fire. Toba has officially left the team.
Everyone appreciated working with Toba because he had a lot of compassion, a fantastic sense of humor that was contagious, and he cooked delectable meals. It would mean a great lot to his family if you could remember them in your prayers and thoughts as they are going through this trying time.
