Bill Schurman Obituary, Death – Bill Schurman, who had served as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce in the past, passed away recently. It is with great sadness that we share this news. His contributions to our community will continue to be felt for a long time since Bill was a hard worker who was also passionate about what he did. We will never forget Bill’s gentle nature, his enthusiasm for his work, and his unflinching dedication to improving the quality of life in our neighbourhood for as long as we live. As we move forward, his legacy will continue to motivate us and direct our efforts in the work that we do. Bill, may you rest in peace. You are going to be sorely missed. The Wildcats are deeply saddened to share the news that Bill Schurman, a former General Manager of Business Operations for the Wildcats, passed away earlier today after a courageous fight against brain cancer. Bill was a member of the team for a combined total of seven years, from 2002-2007 and then again from 2008-2010. The fact that Bill had such a deep awareness of the local community and the significant part it plays in the success of the Wildcats was Bill’s greatest asset.
