According to a statement that was released by the detachment, the driver of the transport bus did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
As a result of the deadly crash, the No. 2 Road bridge had to be closed, and the Vancouver International Airport issued a warning to motorists who were making plans to travel to Sea Island.
