Dillon Holcomb Accident – A skateboarder by the name of Dillon Eugene Holcomb, who was 23 years old and a resident of Fort Pierce, was identified as the person who tragically lost away after being struck by an ambulance while riding a skateboard on the evening of April 16. It was found that he was riding a skateboard at the time of the accident, which resulted in his death. Skateboarding was what Holcomb was doing at the time.

As a result of the injuries he sustained, Holcomb did not make it through the day and ultimately lost his battle with death on April 16 in the evening. On the section of United States Route 1 that can be found on the 4600 block in the city of Fort Pierce, a head-on collision involving two autos took place. The collision involved both vehicles traveling in the same direction. According to the officials in Fort Pierce, Holcomb was on his skateboard and attempting to cross the road when he was struck by the ambulance that was going northbound on Route 1 when the collision occurred.

When it was noticed, the ambulance was heading in a direction toward the south. At exactly 10:24 o’clock on Sunday evening, he was pronounced dead at the HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, after having been carried there by the St. Lucie County Fire Rescue. A previous evacuation of the medical facility had been carried out by the St. Lucie County Fire Rescue. He was familiar with the area because he had been there before. It was the fire department, which was in charge of his transportation, that was responsible for bringing him there. They were the ones who were accountable for it.
