Morgan Edwards Obituary, Death – In 1956, his Dad, a cattle buyer, talked him into starting his own trucking business, Edwards Bros. Trucking, which included his brother, David, Cliff, and Nat. At first, he hauled livestock. In 1968, he received his Interstate Commerce Commission (I.C.C.) rights and started hauling refrigerated products which he continued doing from that time on. Morgan was an avid flyer. He owned three different airplanes – his last one being a Cessna 210. Both Morgan and David were pilots. They really enjoyed flying and using the airplanes in their business.
Morgan Edwards has died He was born October 12, 1931, in Ogden, Utah to Clifford Morgan and Nora Layton Green Edwards. He grew up and attended schools in the Layton, Utah area. Following graduation from Davis High School, he joined the Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska for most of his service time.
Following his military service, he attended Northrup Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, California, where he finished his education, earning a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. While waiting for clearance for a new job in the commercial airline industry, he came to Idaho Falls, where his family had relocated while he was in the service.
On March 5, 1960, he married Donna Elaine McNeil in Idaho Falls, where they have lived for over 46 years. They had one daughter, Lisa. Morgan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Morgan and Donna enjoyed traveling and have traveled all over the world. He also enjoyed golfing, which he did every chance he got.
