Joseph Butler Obituary, Death – Joseph grew up in Annapolis/Arnold Maryland. Joseph was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System where he received his High School diploma from South River High School. Joseph was employed at the Audi dealership in Annapolis, MD. Joseph was a member of The Capital Church of Christ. Joseph was known for his infectious smile, words of encouragement and often compared to a gentle “Teddy Bear”. Over the years Joseph’s love of family and friends earned him a slew of nicknames: Jody B, Colby, Bunz, Jody, Wu Wackie, and Colby Colby.
Joseph’s constant love of his family and friends could be shown with his warm hugs, bright smile, loving personality, and playful demeanor. Joseph’s interest included spending time with his kids whom he absolutely adored. They were the true love of his life. He enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, and hanging out with his family and friends. If the Boston Celtics or the San Francisco 49ers were playing, Joseph was sure to be somewhere cheering them on.
Joseph leaves his memory to be cherished by two daughters, KaMorah Butler and Aameire Mason; one son, Kolby Butler; two Godsons, William Evans III (TJ) and Carlito Greenleaf; parents, Cornell III, Lynne Cooper and Joseph H. Butler, Jr.; two brothers, Brandon Butler and Teshawn Cooper; two sisters, Lasean Humphrey and Courtney Cooper; six nieces, Kiahonna Hill, Leigh Savoy, Tiganne Thompson, Kree Robinson, Malaysia and Milan Cooper; one nephew, Tyjahn Callahan; grandmother, Sarah Evans; 16 aunts and 11 uncles, Joyce Gray (Barry), Nadine Branch, Doris Neal (Jeffrey), Carlos Evans, Terrance Evans (Marlene), William Evans (Davonne).
