A Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Dale A. Schneider, who lived in St. Joseph and passed away at the age of 76. The service will be held in honor of Dale A. Schneider.
Dale was their first child together. They wed on May 25th, 1977 at Collegeville, and the ceremony took place there. Diane “Bip” Klein was his bride. Dale had a history of employment that included spells at Pliam’s Linoleum and Bernick’s prior to 1971, when he became the owner of Sal’s Bar and Grill as an inheritance from his parents.
During those 52 years, he had interactions with thousands of people, including Johnnies and Bennies, and a good number of them routinely visited him to catch up on old times and pay their respects. Dale’s number one pastime was in the kitchen. When he was at Sal’s, he experienced the least amount of anxiety.
Dale enjoyed the time he spent fishing very much. During the balmy months of summer, he rarely had any issue finding someone to travel with him to Backus for a couple of days each week. This was because the trip was so popular.
