Valerie Baker Obituary, Death – Valerie Baker, who passed away a few days ago after a prolonged fight with a dreadful illness and who worked as an E-911 dispatcher for Russell County, passed away today at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Valerie was a member of the Russell County community and will be missed. Valerie Baker was a resident of Russell County, and her presence in the community will be sorely missed.
Yesterday, Valerie Baker lost her valiant battle against the illness after a protracted period of time spent fighting it. She was a member of our organization, and she gave every ounce of her being to the work that she was so enthusiastic about, which was assisting the people in her neighborhood in conjunction with the police, the fire department, and the emergency medical services. This was the kind of work that she was able to do because of the enthusiasm that she had for it.
She ended up being the lone participant in the class that she signed up for. She never got tired of making other people laugh, and you could always find her with a smile on her face even when she was doing something as monotonous as cleaning her house. As a direct and immediate result of this, our community has suffered a loss that is unimaginably terrible. Everyone is going to feel a profound loss from her departure. She brought a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the group.
We would like her family, friends, and coworkers to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this trying time together with her. During this trying time, we want them to be aware that they are in our thoughts and prayers. We are thinking about and praying for them. We ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as you go about your day, both in the future days and hours as well as in the present moment. Please remember them in your prayers and keep them in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
