Shannon Bec Obituary, Death – Despite the fact that Facebook has never been something that particularly piqued my interest, I believe it is essential for everyone to be aware of this. It is with the deepest remorse that I have to break the news to you that our beloved wife and mother, Shannon Bec, went away peacefully yesterday while she was sleeping. She had been dealing with her illness for some time.
She was far too young and had a much more vibrant spirit to have to leave so soon after she joined us. We were going to miss her very much. She was the most generous and warm-hearted person I had ever encountered, and I knew from the moment I saw her that we were destined to spend the rest of our lives together. When I saw her for the first time, which was now 21 years ago, I had an instantaneous feeling that she was the person I was supposed to be with.
The two boys’ mother was the kindest and most thoughtful lady who ever walked the face of the earth. Shane and Alex were very lucky to have her as their parent. I wanted to take the time, despite the fact that the past few days have been some of the most challenging of my life, to express my gratitude to everyone who has reached out to offer support. It is difficult for me to find the appropriate words to express the breadth and depth of my gratitude.
