Scott Bauer Obituary, Death – The coupling of Don Richard and Georgie Raine Everman Bauer, both of whom predeceased him, resulted in the birth of Scott on the 16th day of July in the year 1961 in New London, Ohio. After moving to Quality, Kentucky with his family when he was in the ninth grade, he finished his education at New London Schools. He graduated from Butler County High School in 1980, where he was a standout athlete who established numerous records in the sports of football and track and field.

At the present time, he has not been surpassed as the Butler County High School pole vaulting record holder. Scott had a career as an electrician, but in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and piloting remote-controlled airplanes. He volunteered his time at a bird refuge in addition to being a member of the Music City Aviators and the Foambusters. In addition to his parents, his grandparents on both sides had passed away before him: his maternal grandparents, Elva and Gustava Everman, and his paternal grandparents, Fred and Joy Bauer.

Scott Douglas Bauer is survived by two sons Richard McDonald (Aimee) of Mobile, AL and Mark McDonald of Russellville, KY; one brother David Bauer (Mia) of Virginia; four sisters Deanna Embry (Darrell) of Morgantown, KY, Sharon Bauer of Bowling Green, KY, Sandra Justus (Logan) of Texas and Karen Hyams of Russellville, KY; two grandchildren Makena and Emma McDonald and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be place on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church, with Bro. Jewel Martin serving as the presiding minister. The Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery will serve as the location for the private burial service. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:30pm until service time at 4:00pm at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church.
