Kaliyah Williams Obituary, Death – Quincy Poncho, also known as Maurice Williams, had a very fortunate life. It was on April 22, 1993 that he entered this world, and he departed it on March 11, 2023. His devoted great-great-grandmother, Bessie Mae Henderson, passed away before him, followed by his great-grandfather, Hayward Jeffery Jr. His mother, Arlenia D. Jeffery, and his father, Quincy Maurice Williams, as well as his stepfather, Daniel Simplice (Michelle), and his grandmother, Vivian D. Henderson Jeffery-Phillips, will always hold a special place in their hearts for him. His full siblings are Jamaile Wiliams (Lynice Belford), Edward Simplice, and Jouwell Simplice.
He also has two half siblings, Margaret Jones and Daniel Simplice. (Mooka), Danyale Jones, Daniel Jones, and Christopher Jones; and his three beautiful children Kaliyah, Quincy, and Kamaviah Williams (Kiara); as well as a host of nieces and nephews, including Nevaeh, Edward Jr., Paris, Santanna, Jamarei, Jayden, Giovanni, Daniel, De’Reon, and Kylie, as well as a host of other relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In Missouri City, Texas, where Quincy grew up, he went to high school at both Christa McAuliffe and Willowridge. He was a lively youngster who was always quick with a smile. The family relocated to Stockton, California, in 2009, when his mother enrolled him and his siblings in the Lincoln High School district.
He took advantage of the opportunity provided to him by his mother to expand his family, and as a result, he now has brothers named Finis, Todd, and Darius, in addition to a large group of friends with whom he has shared his passion for music. He went on to have a successful career as a musician and an amazing one as a parent, all of which played a role in his decision to devote his life to Christ. He developed into a people person and made it a point to check in with his loved ones on a daily basis by contacting them via social media or by giving them a call.
Qunicy radiated life and left an impression on everyone he came in contact with, thanks in large part to his contagious smile. Quincy had to overcome a number of challenges in order to begin altering his lifestyle in order to provide a better environment for his children when he passed away while working on an album. The neglectful treatment of Quincy resulted in his untimely death, but he will always be remembered as the large guy who could brighten up a room with his charm and his smile.
