James Hooks Obituary, Death – We will be open on Wednesday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we will be holding a fundraiser for the family of James Hooks, who was killed in a horrific motorcycle accident on Monday. I got the impression that he was just an all over wonderful and sincere human being from the fact that he was a close friend of one of our workers and I heard that. After he passed away, he left behind three little children and their mother, Victoria, to pick up the pieces and carry on with their lives.
They make my heart ache for some reason! I have faith that this campaign will be able to ease Victoria’s suffering and provide assistance to her as she works through her grief and attempts to adjust to life without James. At this time, the assistance of the community is really necessary for this family. We will have contribution buckets at the checkout, and one hundred percent of the funds from those buckets, in addition to fifty percent of the day’s total sales, will be donated to them.
Please say a prayer for strength for Victoria, their girls, and James’ family and friends, even if you are unable to make a donation or come shop on that particular day. We have additional information that we will share over the coming several days, but we wanted to get the news out immediately in the hopes that it will help make this event a tremendous success.
