Herschel Dwellingham Obituary, Death – I am saddened to inform you of the passing of my father, the renowned drummer, record producer, and composer Herschel Dwellingham Sr. I hate having to make this announcement. His spirit, the amount of love he left behind, and the music he created will ensure that his talent and legacy will go on long after he is gone. I hope and pray that God may bring you comfort as you grieve the loss of your sister. During this time of difficulty, know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
He battled valiantly, and know that you have my support and that I adore you. I am really sorry to learn these awful details. When I first saw Herschel, it was in the early 1960s and I was in Boston. A fantastic individual who was famous for always having encouraging words to offer. The news of this has left me feeling utterly devastated. I am conscious of the feelings you have for him. As a sign of my gratitude for your father’s support during the pandemic, I baked a pound cake and presented it to him on Father’s Day.
You are constantly on my mind and I will pray for you. You have my deepest condolences during this difficult moment of his life. I pray that you will eventually discover some serenity, my dear friend. The news that Hershel has passed away was brought to my attention just now. He is someone who will always be entrenched in my memory. I was a member of his band when I was in Boston. The band performed exceptionally well under his direction. Cooperation with this person is a pleasure.
And to my good fortune, I was only recently able to get in touch with him within the past year; we spoke on the phone. It was a conversation that made one’s heart feel a little bit warmer. I am really sorry for the loss that you have experienced in your life. The Dwellingham family is in our thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time. Please accept our sincere condolences.
