Brian Galvin Obituary, Death – After a courageous and resolute fight against cancer, Brian Galvin, who was from the community of Jamison in Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Doylestown Hospital. He was surrounded by his friends and family who loved him. He had 57 years under his belt. He was married to Lisa (Serpico) Galvin for 32 wonderful years, and together they had a wonderful marriage. He passed away in 2010.
Brian Galvin was the son of the late Francis and Mary (Delaney) Galvin, who reared their son in a loving household with a foundation routed in the Catholic religion, which stayed near to Brian’s heart for the remainder of his life. Brian was born in Camden, New Jersey, and was the son of the late Francis and Mary (Delaney) Galvin. Brian went to Bishop Eustace Preparatory High School in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey, when he was younger, and he earned his diploma from there. After that, he continued his education by enrolling at both Cabrini and LaSalle Universities, ultimately earning his degree from LaSalle University. Both Brian and his wife Lisa shared a close relationship with Brian’s mother, Mary, throughout the early years of their marriage.
They provided Mary with loving care until she passed away from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Brian worked at the Doylestown Country Club for the latter 25 years of his life and became a much-loved member of the staff there. He was one of their most popular bartenders and developed a solid group of regulars who quickly became friends. Sometimes they would come to the bar only to have a discussion with Brian about the most recent sports news or how they shot in their most recent game of golf.
He was one of their most popular bartenders and built a strong group of regulars. Brian enjoyed soaking in the rays of the sun, keeping up with any and all sports, and sipping a frosty beer. These were some of his favorite things to do. Even after he reached maturity, he continued to be a passionate basketball player, continuing to compete in local leagues and dominating with a three-point shot that became legendary. The times when Brian was able to spend time with his loved ones and friends were the times when he got the most pleasure out of all of these activities.
