Ali Barber Obituary, Death – September 24, 2004 After a long and brave battle with a rare genetic illness, Alison Marie Barber, age 3, passed away on September 24 at University Hospital. She had been fighting the condition for some time. Alie was a young lady who exemplified both valor and perseverance in everything that she did. She is survived by her parents, Marty and Lisa Trytek Barber; her three brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and Samuel; her maternal grandparents, Dan and Kris Trytek; her paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Al Szilagyi and Grandpa Derwood Barber; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Marty and Lisa Trytek Barber are her parents.
Anthony, Joseph, and Samuel are her brothers. Her maternal grandparents are Dan and Kris Trytek. Her parents are Marty Barber and Lisa Trytek, and they have two children. Dan and Kris Trytek are her grandfather and grandmother on her father’s side. On Monday, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be held at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, which can be found at 1628 W. Genesee Street.
Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lakeland is going to be the place where the burial services will take place. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm for anyone who would like to pay their respects to the deceased. Donations to Casey’s Place are welcome in lieu of flowers and should be given to Family Capped Inc. at the following address: 115 Oak Hollow Rd., DeWitt, New York 13214. The family has asked that these contributions be made in lieu of flowers.
