Matt Driver Obituary, Death – Matt is survived by Kristy Pokrywka-Driver, his wife of 14 years, his best friend and strongest supporter for 22 years, the proud father of their two children, Tenley and Blake, who astounded him with their strength, kindness, and bravery, and Kaiser, the cherished family dog. Respected and cherished son of Norah Purser (Larry) of Exeter and David Driver of Lakeside. Big Brother to Shannon Driver (who played the role of Scott), Chris Driver (who played the role of Taylor).

Dorothy and Walter Pokrywka of London are fortunate to have you as your son-in-law, and Tina Pokrywka (Shane) is lucky to have you as her brother-in-law. His grandparents, Fred and Jessie Purser, as well as Ernie and Winnifred Driver, passed away before he was born. Matt became the town’s go-to guy for the repair of any small volt system, including automobiles, homes, boats, limos, motor homes, and stereos, very rapidly, and gained the nickname “Call Driver” as a result. Matt got his start working at a local store that sold and serviced home and automotive audio and video equipment. “Driver Products” was a source of entertainment for Matt, and it ensured that there was always activity in the driveway.
As a certified Heavy Welder, Matt spent a number of years working at a company in Goderich. There, he played an important role in the fabrication of many research and development projects, including significant contracts with John Deere. Matt discovered his true home in development mining with his mining family and B Crew at Compass Minerals’ Goderich, the largest underground salt mine, which is located 1800 feet below Lake Huron. Goderich is owned by Compass Minerals.
