Vivian Miculcy Obituary, Death Cause – She was born on October 1, 1932 in Ossining, New York, and she was the only child of her parents. Lynn spent her childhood in Cos Cob, Connecticut, where she graduated from Cos Cob High School and went on to marry her high school love, Albert “Buddy” Miculcy, on June 6, 1953.
After her husband was taken from her at an early age in 1972, she was a very strong lady who was able to use her fortitude to successfully raise her three children on her own. For more than half a century, she served as the matriarch of her family, and for many years.
On April 13, 2023, Vivian Lynn Lyons Miculcy, who resided in Greenwich, Connecticut, passed away. She had reached the age of 90. Lynn was the daughter of Paul C. Lyons and Vivian Graves Lyons.
family reunions were centered on both her presence and the festivities that took place in her home. She was the life of the party and delighted in hosting frequent get-togethers for her extended family and close friends.
Lynn was always working on a new project of some kind! She was always up for the task, whether it was painting, constructing, or gardening. She did it all. She also had a passion for sewing and crafting, which she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
She worked at Julian Curtiss School at the Media Center for a wonderful 28 years until she retired in 2001, during which time she also enjoyed baking, sewing, construction, and gardening. She worked there until she reached the age of retirement.
Her cherished family and friends fondly referred to her as “Ga,” and she will be sorely missed by each and every one of us. Both of Lynn’s parents and her husband had passed away before her. She is survived by her daughter Susan Belmonte (Mike), sons Mark (Monique) and Jim, nine granddaughters.
