Faye Hunsinger Obituary, Palm Beach Gardens FL, Faye Hunsinger Has Passed Away

Faye Hunsinger Obituary, Death Cause – After a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer that had been withheld from her for four weeks, Faye Ostrander Hunsinger passed away in peace on April 1, 2023 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It was the year 78. Faye Ostrander spent the majority of her childhood and professional years in Central New Jersey. She was born on July 17, 1944 in St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida to Corporal Charles Ostrander and his wife Rae Fulton Ostrander.

Faye maintained her position as a consultant to a number of national educational resource companies throughout the better part of the next decade. She spent her life in Tequesta, Florida, where she made a lot of kind relationships among her neighbors and other people in the area. Faye’s maternal grandparents, Captain Walter Fulton and his wife Ethel, lived in Bay Head when she was a youngster, and she fondly remembers the many joyful summers she spent there with them. She spent her childhood in the Jersey Shore, where she worked for several summers at Mueller’s Bakery. She cherished those times. In addition to her lifelong friend Joan Roeben Licursi of Bay Head, Faye is survived by her brother Walter James Ostrander of Florida and the Dominican Republic, as well as a large number of Faye’s Ostrander cousins who live in the Central Jersey region. I pray that she finds eternal rest.

Faye spent the majority of her childhood and professional years there. She received her high school diploma from Freehold High School in 1962 and her college degree from Trenton State College in 1966 (which is now known as The College of New Jersey). Faye decided to pursue a career in education and eventually worked as a primary school teacher for the Princeton Regional School System. After teaching for a number of years, she eventually moved into the role of Director of Human Resources before taking an early retirement in 1996 to go to Florida and assist with the care of her aging parents.
