Scott Brown Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of 58 years old, Mr. Scott Parker Brown, who resided in Hamilton, New Jersey, died away peacefully at home, surrounded by his devoted family. Scott has spent his entire life in the state of New Jersey.
He was born in Woodbury, but in 1991 he relocated to Mercer County. Scott frequently reminisced about his youth, particularly the summers he spent fishing on the St. Lawrence River with his grandparents. After receiving his diplomas from West Deptford High School in 1983 and Elizabethtown College in 1987.
Scott moved on to begin working for the State of New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, where he remained for a total of 34 years, most recently in the Division of Unemployment Insurance. Scott’s education culminated in the awarding of his Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management.
Scott was a devoted and extremely proud husband and father. You could always find him at his children’s sporting events, whether it was cheering on his daughter during a dance competition or coaching his son during a soccer or baseball game.
He placed a high value on the time he spent with his loved ones and was very hands-on with his offspring, working hard to instill in them a strong sense of morality, healthy competition, and compassion. His most cherished childhood memories include trips with his family to places like Hilton Head, South Carolina; Long Beach Island, New Jersey; Orlando, Florida; and Rome, Italy.
He treasured the time he got to spend with his intimate circle of friends, who spoke highly of his quick wit and hilarious sense of humor. Not only his family and friends, but also anybody else who knew him was familiar with his huge smile, his love of eating, and his kind attitude. All of these things were well known. He made friends wherever he went.
