Mylaki Young Obituary, Death – The Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department is now conducting an investigation into a homicide that took place on Friday, April 14, 2023, in the 200 block of V Street, Northwest. The incident took place in the city of Washington, DC. The occurrence took place in the capital city of the District of Columbia, which is also known simply as Washington. Officers from the Third District were dispatched to the area in question at approximately 2:47 in the morning after receiving information that shots had been fired in the aforementioned place.
When the police arrived, they discovered a male juvenile victim who had been shot inside the apartment. The victim was in critical condition. The shooting left the child dead as a result of the incident. The victim was retained at the scene until they were able to transport them to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner after it was decided that the victim did not exhibit any indications of life that were consistent with the victim’s condition after DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and determined that the victim did not exhibit any signs of life that were consistent with the victim’s condition.
Following that, the victim was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further investigation. Mylaki Young, who was 16 years old and from Northwest in the District of Columbia, has been identified as the person who passed away. The investigation led to this conclusion. The Metropolitan Police Department is now providing a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who gives information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia. The reward is being offered to anyone who offers information. Any anyone who comes forward with information is eligible to receive the reward.
