Jason Richards Obituary, Death – The passing of Rev. Jason Richards (MDiv 2016), an alumnus of St. Andrew’s and a friend to many individuals in the community, has left us with a great feeling of loss. We want you to know that we are deeply saddened by this news and want you to know that we are sorry for your loss. This information is being relayed to you because we want you to share in our sense of loss.
The College extends its sympathies and concern to Jason’s partner Young Seo (MTS 2021), their son Lincoln, Jason’s parents Bruce and Marg, his sister, and all those who were close to Jason, including Jason’s and Young’s contemporaries at the University. Also included in this group are individuals who were close to Jason. As a component of the memorial service that we will be holding in Jason’s honor, we will have the opportunity to select photographs from the extensive collection that were taken not just during his tenure as a student at the College but also during his continued involvement with the College after he had graduated.
After he has completed his education at the institution, we will also be able to provide you with copies of images that were taken of him throughout his time while working there. This particular moment of Jason at the graduation ceremony reflects a lot of what we remember and treasure about Jason. In particular, we remember and treasure his energy, his sense of humor, and his love for others.
