Dr. Enoch Gordis Obituary, Death – Dr. Enoch Gordis, who was born in Wichita, Kansas, on August 12, 21993 and served a mission on earth before returning to his Heavenly Father on April 5, 2023, when he was 14 years old, successfully finished his work here on earth. Enoch cherished his family and enjoyed spending time with them by participating in a variety of activities together, including cruising around on hoverboards, bouncing on the trampoline, and engaging in make-believe play with his younger siblings.
When Enoch was younger, he had a voracious appetite for food, trains, sharks, trucks, and anything else that could “chomp” or move on wheels. Later in life, he developed an interest in logic puzzles, robotics, mathematics, dirt bikes, and hanging out with his friends’ siblings. He was a fan of Minecraft and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, both of which are video games.
When he would ask Matthew, “Do you want to sit with Enoch?” and then hear Matthew respond, “ya!” as he came to plop in his lap, he would flash a little hint of a grin over his lips. Matthew was always so eager to spend time with Enoch. It was a favorite pastime of Enoch’s to take his younger siblings for spins on his electric dirt bike or to let them ride it themselves. “Pizza movie night” was one of his favorite ways to spend time with his family and watch movies.
Enoch was well-liked by a great number of people. He will be sorely missed by everyone. His five siblings, Angelea, Daniel, Myria, Joseph, and Matthew are the only ones to have survived his passing. He is survived by his parents, Steven and Angelina Hansen. Additionally, he held his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, educators, and leaders in the church in the highest regard.
He was a huge fan of pizza and had no problem eating a whole pie by himself. He enjoyed preparing meals for his family and was skilled in the kitchen. He would gladly do so. The Coliseum was one of his favorite places to spend time with his pals and play games. He was always making things using Legos, K’nex, and other construction toys. He had a lot of creative energy. Enoch enjoyed adventure. He especially enjoyed long walks in the woods, trips to the Redwoods, camping, and activities on the lake.
