The John Deere tractor that belonged to Mr. Kennedy was his own equivalent of a Cadillac and was his most valued property. He was known as the “Biggest Braves Fan Ever,” and he always made sure to keep his tools in an orderly fashion. His family was his number one priority, and this attitude extended to his grand dogs as well as the rest of his family members and possessions.
Mr. Kennedy was born on June 20, 1958 in Sandersville, North Carolina. His parents, Joseph Harris Kennedy, II and Dorothy Anderson Kennedy, both passed away before their son was born. He received his high school diploma from Brentwood in 1977 and his associate’s degree in computer science from Augusta Technical College in 1979. In addition to his career as an electrician, Mr. Kennedy worked his entire life on the family farm. He was a man with a great heart, a grin that was infectious, and he never harbored any ill will against anyone.
