Bryan Desmarais Obituary, Death – Brian P. Desmarais, 69, who resided on Myrtle Street in Claremont, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He had been hospitalized for a brief illness before to his passing. At the time of his passing, he was encircled by a significant number of his friends and family members.
He was a longtime resident of Claremont, having resided there for the duration of his entire life. On October 17, 1944, he was born in Claremont to his parents, Gerard and Irma (Curtis). His birthday is October 17th. Brian has been the owner and operator of Dan’s Service Center on Washington Street ever since the business originally opened its doors back in 1966.
Prior to that, he worked at Tony’s Pizza in Claremont, and it was about that time that he developed an interest in the culinary arts for the first time. You could always find Brian tending to the fire pit if there was a family gathering or a social engagement that included a pig roast or anything else that included cooking outdoors.
This was to ensure that everything was cooked to perfection and that everyone went home satisfied. In the year 1983, he opened Brian’s Pizza and Deli on North Street. You may find it there today. Brian enjoyed a variety of activities, some of which included shooting birds and ducks, as well as cooking and fishing. In his career as a racer, he took part in a number of hill climb competitions, and he was also a member of the Sports Car Club of America.
