Andrea Rose Obituary, Death – On July 22, 2000, Andrea and Corey Rose exchanged vows of matrimony at the Zion Lutheran Church in West Union. This marked the beginning of their life together as husband and wife. The celebration was held on the 22nd of July. While she was a resident of Decorah, Iowa, she worked at Traditions in the department that was responsible for management and at Marine Credit Union in the department that was responsible for financing.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 14, 2023, for Andrea Maria Rose, who had gone away the previous day at the age of 38 and had resided in Hartford WI prior to her passing. Her parents, Joyce (Randy Knickerbocker) (Jacobson) and Michael Scott, were the ones to greet her as she entered this world on August 17, 1980. Her birth took place in West Union, Iowa.
The Zion Lutheran Church in West Union, which the family is actively involved in and visits on a regular basis, played host to both Andrea’s baptism and confirmation ceremonies. She started her schooling at North Fayette High School, from which she received her diploma. She then continued her studies at NICC, where she majored in accounting and finished with a degree.
A disproportionate amount of time in Andrea’s life was consumed by the activities of her many nieces and nephews as well as other relatives. Her top three favorite things to do were watch the football games of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears; go on vacation to warm beaches, especially in Mexico; and spend time on the Mississippi River. Her top three favorite sports teams were the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears. Both the restaurant’s kitchen and the bakery benefited greatly from having her there.
