Troy Hannah Obituary, Death Cause – On Monday, April 10, 2023, at the age of forty years old, Troy T. Hannah, who resided in Manitowoc, passed away suddenly at his residence. He was the son of John Hannah and the late Wanda (Woitkovich) Hannah and was born on July 29, 1982 in the city of Manitowoc in the state of Wisconsin. Troy is a graduate of Lincoln High School, having received his diploma in the year 2000.
After that, he completed his education at the University of Wisconsin – Stout and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. The Lates Restaurant in Manitowoc was Troy’s place of employment at the time. In addition to the annual camping trip to the UP that his family took, he looked forward to the weekly dinners that were held at his sister’s house and which he shared with his family.
Dylan, his son; his father, John Hannah; his sister and brother-in-law, Lydia and Garrett Wallander, and their children, Gage and Maci; his aunts and uncles, Sue (Tom) LaPean, Sally Graves, Lori Woitkovich, Karen (Kent) Umnus, and Jon Woitkovich; the mother of his son, Heidi Laux; and many special cousins, other relatives, and friends. The cremation took place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, which is also located in Manitowoc.
Listening to music was one of Troy’s favorite activities, and he particularly enjoyed attending Summerfest performances and listening to 80’s rock (which he referred to as “basement music”). Above all else, he treasured the time he could spend with his son Dylan, especially engaging in activities such as building with Legos, going to Strand Adventures, and mastering the art of skateboarding.
He was predeceased by his mother, Wanda Hannah; his paternal grandmother, JoAnn Hannah; his maternal grandparents, Leon and Theresa Woitkovich; and three of his uncles, Clark Woitkovich, Ken Woitkovich, and Bruce Graves. His maternal grandparents were Leon and Theresa Woitkovich. A memorial ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, which is located at 628 North Water Street in Manitowoc.
