Norman Rohr Obituary, Death – We are writing to inform you that firefighter and charter member Norman Guy Rohr has passed away. He was a longtime member of our organization. It is with great regret that we must proceed in this manner. In 1978, Norman became a charter member of the West Dover Volunteer Fire Department (WDVFD), an organization for which he dedicated his selfless devotion to the community and served as a volunteer for the following almost 45 years.
Please join us in praying for the Rohr family and offer a prayer for them. Thank you. Godspeed, Norman. You have been quite helpful in this regard. Isaiah 43:2 If you go across the fire without taking any precautions, you won’t get burned, and the flame won’t start on you either. I will be with you when you go through the waters, and when you go through the rivers, they will not drown you. When you go through the waters, I will be with you. If you walk through the flames without paying attention, you won’t get burned.
Due to the fact that Norman was a founder member of WDVFD, we are able to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work that he put in to assist in the establishment, growth, and structure of the department, as well as for many years after it was established. As a gesture of their appreciation for the contributions that Norman has made to the neighborhood, the members of our staff and the volunteers who assist us have put his gear on display in the lobby of the fire station.
