Maria Stavropoulos Obituary, Death – Maria Stavropoulos, who had reached the age of 91 when she died away on April 11, 2023, did so in a serene and peaceful manner. As we grieve her passing, our hearts are heavy with the sorrow and love we felt for her. Her four nieces, Popy, Maria, Popy, and Helen, as well as her three nephews, Ken, Paul, and Frank, will always remember her with fondness, as will her brother Kyriakos (Jane), her sister Theodora, and her brother Kyriakos (Jane).
A viewing will be held at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, April 17, 2023, from six till eight o’clock in the evening. The church can be found at 1385 Warden Ave in Scarborough, Ontario. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11 am at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church in Scarborough, Ontario. The church can be found at 1385 Warden Ave. After this, the burial will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery, which is found in Scarborough, Ontario at 625 Birchmount Rd, and it will be the final resting place of the deceased.
There will be a memorial luncheon held in her honor at Flipper’s Fishhouse, which can be found in Toronto at 2300 Lawrence Ave East. During the time that Maria was under their care, the staff at the Rockcliffe Community Care facility provided her with care as well as compassion. The family would like to offer a very special thank you to those members of the staff for the efforts that they have made. I pray that the memories of her endure for all time.
