Derek, the cherished husband of Fiona, loving father of Craig and Barry and father in law of Lynsey, devoted grandad of Ellie, Adam, Natasha, and Max, as well as a dear brother, brother in law, uncle, and friend to many, passed away peacefully at home in Burntisland on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, following a brief illness that he fought with great courage and strength. Derek was also a dear friend to many. People also remember Derek for the role of buddy he played in their lives. He could look back on 68 years of experience.
Everyone will experience loss in their own special way when he passes away. Everyone is cordially invited to attend the funeral service that will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 3 o’clock at the Kirkcaldy Crematorium. The event will be held in memory of the deceased. The gathering is going to be hosted in honor of the person who passed away. Only members of the immediate family should send flowers; however, anybody who wishes to make a contribution to Maggie’s may do so during the service.
