Darryl Younie Obituary, Death – The passing of Darryl Andrew Younie, who had been a member of the KSS Jets for a substantial amount of time, has left all of us here at the club feeling sad. Darryl had been a member of the team for a significant amount of time. Over the course of several years, Darryl provided our team with consistent and passionate assistance, which we are grateful for.
All of the people who were a part of our community, including players, coaches, and volunteers, will miss him very much. It will be really difficult to get used to not having him there. We will never forget Darryl’s warm and welcoming demeanor, along with the enthusiasm he had for the sport he played, and we will also never forget the contagious joy he had at all times.
On Sunday, April 23, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon, Darryl’s family will honor him by hosting a celebration of his life at the Hervey Bay Sports Club, which is located in our area. This event will take place in our neighborhood. In honor of Darryl, this activity will take place at some point. If you would like to participate in the celebration of his life, please arrive wearing the jersey or shirt of your favorite sports team.
This is required if you wish to take part in the event. Instead of sending flowers or other traditional tokens of condolence, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Leukemia Foundation in memory of the deceased. During this trying time, we would like his family and friends to know that they are in our thoughts and that we share in their loss.
We want them to know that we are thinking of them and that we are here for them. We wish for them to be aware that we are considering them and that they can always count on us to be here for them. I hope and pray that Darryl is able to finally chill out and take some time for themselves. You will always have a place in our hearts and minds as a member of the KSS Jets family whenever we reflect on the past, present, or future.
