Amaya Chenot Obituary, Death – The driver of a tow truck ran a red light early on Wednesday morning in the north Fresno region, which resulted in a pedestrian being struck and killed by the vehicle as she was crossing the street. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning. An accident that occurred at one in the morning near the intersection of Friant Road and Shephard Avenue drew the attention of emergency personnel. The incident took place close to the crossroads.
Both emergency medical services and officers from the Fresno Police Department rushed to the location of the collision in order to conduct an investigation into what caused it. On the video, you can see the precise moment that the tow truck ran a red light and collided with the vehicle that was being driven by the woman. As a result, the vehicle driven by the woman careens into the median and into the opposite lane of traffic. The video also demonstrates that the front bumper of the tow truck collided with the vehicle that was being towed at some point.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency workers found the woman still entrapped within the vehicle. She had suffered some kind of injury. The woman was able to be saved by the police and the emergency medical services; however, it was revealed that she had passed away at the scene of the incident before they arrived. Despite the fact that she was able to be rescued, it was discovered that she had passed away at the scene. After more inquiry, it was determined that the person in issue was Fresno native Amaya Chenot, who was 22 years old at the time of the incident.
