Maureen Nimmo Obituary, Death – We are writing to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of Maureen Nimmo, who had previously worked as the director of our Library. Maureen had served in that capacity for many years. It had been a while since Maureen had been feeling well.
Maureen held the post of Library Director at the Lawrence Public Library for the length of the ten years that stretched between the years 2005 and 2015, beginning her tenure in that role in the year 2005 and continuing on through the year 2015. Our much-loved library will continue to benefit from her contributions for a great many years to come as a direct result of the huge amount of time and effort that she invested in the project.
During this terrible time, the Library family would like to send our most sincere condolences, thoughts, and love to Maureen’s family. We are saddened to hear about Maureen’s passing. Our hearts go out to you on the passing of your loved one. We are all going to feel a tremendous void in our lives without Maureen. She was an exceptional human being. On Thursday, April 13, 2023, visitation will take place at the Diaz-Healy Funeral Home in Lawrence, which is located at 107 South Broadway.
The date and time of the event have not yet been determined. The funeral home may be found in Lawrence, which is the city in where it is situated. It will start at 8:30 in the morning and continue until 10:30 in the morning. In the wake of this, there will be a funeral liturgy held in St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence at eleven in the morning. It is really desirable to have the participation of close friends and members of the family.
