Following the shooting at the Nashville Covenant School, Melissa Joan Hart is telling her harrowing tale. When the tragedy occurred, the Sabrina the Teenage Witch actress and her husband Mark Wilkerson—with whom they share three children—were on their way to parent-teacher conferences at another nearby school. Their three children are Mason, 17, Braydon, 15, and Tucker, 10.
She cried as she remarked, “We helped a class of kindergarteners cross a busy freeway,” in an Instagram video dated March 28. “They were climbing out of the trees. They were attempting to escape the active shooter situation at their school. As a result, we helped a mother reunite with her children as well as all of these tiny children cross the street and find their teachers.”
The 46-year-old claimed that before migrating to Nashville, where a horrible shooting happened in 2012, she and her family had lived close to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. She noted that the most recent incident would be the second in which they were in close proximity.
I really don’t know what to say anymore, she said. “There is already plenty. merely offer a prayer. Pray for the families.” The Nashville locals Shawn Johnson East and Jana Kramer also spoke on the safeguarding of their children in the wake of the tragedy, in addition to the No Good Nick actor.
Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney were three of the nine-year-old students who perished in the shooting at The Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville with students in preschool through sixth grade, on March 27. Three staff members also perished in the incident: Cynthia Peak, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Mike Hill, 61. Authorities told the publication that the shooter had previously attended the school and that he was immediately shot and killed by police.
